How to build and install an R package. R CMD build brocolors * checking for file 'brocolors/DESCRIPTION'. OK * preparing 'brocolors': * checking. Linux downloads (Ubuntu) PostgreSQL is available in all Ubuntu versions by default. However, Ubuntu 'snapshots' a specific version of PostgreSQL that is then supported throughout the lifetime of that Ubuntu version.
The install documentation for openmaint is appalling. I've just spent a stack of time by trial and error trying to get it to work.
For people like me who started with a vanilla ubuntu distro you'll need to: apt-get install tomcat6 #not tomcat7 apt-get install tomcat6-extras apt-get install postgresql apt-get install postgresql-client-common apt-get install postgis apt-get install postgresql-9.3-postgis-2.1 apt-get install postgresql-9.3-postgis-2.1-scripts apt-get install postgresql-9.3-postgis-scripts # cd to the uncompress distrib folder. Our most important job is to develop CMDBuild and openMAINT. Since they are open source projects, everyone can contribute to improve the documentation and the installation procedures. CMDBuild Team I have searched for many hours looking for a set of instructions that actually works.
The instructions on your site are generalized steps rather than step-by-step instructions. The instructions I have found on the Internet have not worked-none of them. I have found many sites with instructions, as you have said. Each set of instructions is different and even contradictory. I work with a non-profit organization. We do not have money to spend on tech support.
I was hoping to use this software, but I have no choice but to look for something else. Previously Scott wrote: Previously Tecnoteca wrote: About Tomcat we confirm to you that we suggest Tomcat 7. I finally managed to get the application somewhat deployed. After the first page where you configured the database all I get is a stupid patch manager page. I can't apply any of the patches. I just get an error. The installation instructions say I should be seeing something else as I am supposed to be able to get to the administration page.
If there is anyone that could actually walk me through the steps of a basic deployment I would be happy to write the steps up. If I actually knew how to do it, I have no doubt that I could write better instructions than those supplied.
I need remote help to have the sprogram openmaint (login to view URL) installed and fully running in my computer. This would be done over teamviewer or other remote connectivity program. Please bid only if you have done this job before, or if you are very familiar to Apache Tomcat, PostGIS, Postgresql, Alfresco and the resto of required software.
Please do state in your bid that you are either very familiar with these programs, or that you have succesfully installed Openmaint or CMDBuild before. Skills:, See more:,.
